About this Program

Join us for a serene two-hour workshop that connects nature, craft, and reflection in the peaceful surroundings of Al Mujadillah Center and Mosque.

We begin with a walk through the gardens, foraging flowers and leaves from the beautiful plants that grow around the mosque. Participants will learn to observe, collect, and appreciate the subtle details of natural forms.

You will use your gathered leaves to press directly into soft clay, imprinting their textures and patterns to create a handmade cup. Through this slow, meditative process, we celebrate the beauty of handcrafted objects, each one carrying the memory of the garden and the calmness of the making moment.

Once completed, your cups will be carefully fired and glazed, transforming them into functional pieces you can later use and keep. They will be a lasting reminder of a mindful afternoon spent in nature and craft.
