About this Event

Al-Mujadilah is committed to advancing scholarship on Muslim women and addressing the contemporary challenges they face. As part of this mission, we are pleased to host the Research Dialogue Series.

The series builds on Al-Mujadilah's research clusters, which bring together scholars and practitioners from diverse disciplines to explore Muslim women’s roles in the public sphere through rigorous and collaborative inquiry.

This series highlights the work of Al-Mujadilah’s 2024/2025 four research clusters, each of which has spent the past year investigating key questions on Women in the Public Sphere. In each session, the research team from each cluster will present their collective findings on the theme:
“Muslim Women in Public Life: Possibilities and Challenges, Old and New.”

The Research Dialogue Series is designed to be both rigorous and engaging — a space where scholarly research is shared in ways that invite reflection, discussion, and participation from diverse audiences. By bringing together academics, practitioners, students, and community members, we hope to spark conversations that are intellectually rich and socially meaningful.

We look forward to your presence and engagement according to the following schedule:
