About this Program

For girls aged 11-16.   This interactive workshop invites young Muslim women to explore how their values, priorities, and surroundings influence the decisions they make in everyday life. Through guided activities and reflection, participants will uncover how choices are often shaped by friendships, family expectations, emotions, and personal desires — sometimes without even realizing it.   At the heart of the session is a hands-on activity that challenges participants to make difficult trade-offs, helping them identify what truly matters to them and how different people may approach the same situation in different ways.   Building on this experience, the workshop introduces a faith-centered approach to decision-making rooted in Islamic values, intentionality, and trust in Allah. Participants will leave with greater self-awareness and practical tools to approach their choices with clarity and confidence.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:   - Identify personal values that influence their decisions - Recognize how values shape different responses and perspectives - Demonstrate greater empathy toward differing priorities and viewpoints - Explain how tawakkul, istikhara, and consultation support decision-making - Apply a simple framework to approach decisions more intentionally - Reflect on aligning their choices more closely with their values and faith
