About this Program

For girls aged 11-16.   Join us in this interactive workshop for young Muslim women where we will explore how du‘a can become a more meaningful and personal part of our every day lives. Through guided reflection and discussion, participants will explore their current relationship with du‘a — whether it feels comforting, distant, uncertain, or difficult to maintain consistently.   The session addresses common questions and struggles, such as feeling unheard, not knowing what to say, or finding it difficult to be fully present. Through interactive activities inspired by the prayers of the prophets and pious predecessors, participants will discover how sincerity, vulnerability, and intention can transform du‘a from a routine practice into a genuine connection with Allah.   Participants will leave with greater confidence, a deeper sense of spiritual connection, and practical ways to make du‘a a more natural and meaningful part of their daily lives.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: - Recognize common challenges experienced when making du‘a - Understand how presence, intention, and sincerity shape the experience of du‘a - Identify Names of Allah that resonate with their personal and emotional experiences - Create personal du‘as using their own words - Reflect on the emotional honesty and depth found in the du‘as of righteous individuals - Develop a personalized du‘a list connected to their needs, struggles, and goals - Demonstrate greater confidence in turning to Allah in both ease and difficulty.
