About this Program
We continue in part (2) of this comprehensive program lessons that focus on explaining Juz’ Amma, combining simplified tafsir of the surahs and their themes with proper recitation rules (tajwid). The program addresses common pronunciation and recitation mistakes in addition to supporting memorization, revision and reinforcement through a structured approach.
By the end of the program, participants are expected to be able to: - Recall the themes and key meanings of the surahs of Juz’ Amma and understand the connections of coherence between the surahs to support comprehension and memorization. - Apply basic rules of Quran recitation and read with correct pronunciation. - Recite the Quran accurately with reduced common errors and the ability to identify and correct them. - Memorize selected surahs according to each participant’s individual ability - Review and strengthen memorization using approach that balance individual effort and group interaction.
Meet our Instructor

Dr. Zainab Talha
Regarded as the first female to record the entirety of the Qur’an in audio format, her recitation is available on several digital platforms. Dr. Zainab has also developed and presented various religious programs, such as her ‘Secrets of Recitation’ which aims to make learning the Qur’an easy.
She is licensed in the Qur’an with several Qira’at readings, as well as in a number of Hadith books. In her work within Qur’anic education, she has ounded the Al-Furqan Academy, co-founded the Ibn Al-Jazari Academy and Zainab Academy to teach the Qur’an and Arabic language in Malaysia.
A member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars and the Global Project for Quranic Guidance, Dr. Zainab has also represented Algeria and Malaysia at the World Encyclopedia of Quranic Guidance. Her contributions have earned her a distinguished research certificate.
