About this Program

Ramadan is a season of benevolence and worship, a time when mercy descends, rewards are multiplied, and Muslims strive to seize its nights by drawing closer to Allah SWT and reciting His Holy Book. Among the great chapters of the Qur’an is Surah Al-Mulk, whose virtues are the subject of many special texts. It is a chapter that intervenes on behalf of its reciter to save them from the torment of the grave, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Surah Al-Mulk is the protector; it is the savior from the torment of the grave.”

“A Night Illuminated by Surah Al-Mulk” builds on the virtues of this Surah while drawing on the significance of I'tikaf in Ramadan, when the heart is purified, the connection with God is renewed, and one is removed from the concerns of the world. Participants are offered a deep night of faith to experience Surah Al-Mulk through recitation, memorization, contemplation, and prayer, in a calm and spiritual atmosphere that enhances reverence and awakens the heart.
