About this Event

Join us in this public lecture with Dr. Sh. Haifaa Younis to rediscover the remembrance of Allah before the blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah, those auspicious days in which Allah has magnified good deeds and opened the doors of obedience and closeness to Him.

The lecture looks at remembrance as a comprehensive act of worship, exploring its meanings both from a doctrinal perspective in establishing Tawhid and exalting Allah in the hearts, and from a spiritual perspective in refining the soul, reviving the heart, and deepening faith.

We will also highlight the importance of remembrance in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Allah says: {And the remembrance of Allah is greater}, and the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds? They said: Yes. He said: The remembrance of Allah.”

In this spirit, we will address several questions: Why did the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) elevate remembrance to such great heights? What effect does it have on fortifying belief, purifying the heart, and cultivating a living faith? Why has this simple act of worship become burdensome for some?

The lecture restores remembrance to its rightful place in our lives, opening the doors of good deeds during this season of closeness to Allah and His grace.
