About this Program
As the blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah approach, this three-hour, hands-on workshop opens a path that is often overlooked: tadabbur (careful pondering of the Qura’n) of the verses of Hajj—for those fortunate to reach the Holy House of Allah, and for those who remain at home.
The workshop aims to help participants move beyond reading to tadabbur. Through a concise theoretical framework, live examples of tadabbur, and practical exercises on selected verses from Surah Al-Hajj and therefore uncover the guidance of these verses and realize their profound impact on life and heart.
- ◆ What is tadabbur? Understanding how it differs from reading, memorization, and tafsir
- ◆ Overcoming Obstacles: Key challenges to tadabbur in our daily lives and strategies to move beyond them.
- ◆ Practical Methodology of tadabbur: Five practical keys for engaging deeply with each verse.
- ◆ Examples of tadabbur in Real Life: How to implement tadabbur in real-life situations.
- ◆ Groupwork: Collaborative exploration of selected verses from Surah Al-Hajj
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- ◆ Define Tadabbur and distinguish it from other forms of interacting with the Qur’an
- ◆ Apply the methodology of Tadabbur to a Qur’anic verse independently and confidently
- ◆ Extract practical guidance from a verse and reflect it on real-life situations
- ◆ Engage with the verses of Hajj during the season with spiritual depth and structured understanding
- ◆ Continue the journey of Tadabbur beyond the workshop with effective tools and practices
