Our Space
Pause. Pray. Refresh. Reflect. Connect.
There are countless reasons to visit Al-Mujadilah – come find yours.
We began our journey with the premise that the spaces and environment we inhabit affects us, and designed Al-Mujadilah to invoke tranquility for anyone who enters. The complexity of the roof, studded with hundreds of light cones, gives way to the simplicity of the open Mosque and gathering areas. The architecture seeks to simultaneously ground the individual and uplift the soul.
Designed to reflect the strength of the individual and unity of the collective, Al-Mujadilah’s many spaces allow for both moments of silent repose and collective rejoice. Centered around two olive trees piercing through the roof, moving upwards to the sky, the building itself reflects the continuous movement of Muslim women as they grow and strive together.
