Imam Ahmed Al Qattani

Imam Ahmed Al-Qattani is an experienced imam with over 10 years of service in Qur'anic education, community leadership, and spiritual guidance.

Holding an Ijazah from Al-Azhar in Qur'an certified by Sheikh Mustafa Al-Nabawi and further training in Tajweed under Sheikh Dukaaly Alim, Imam Al-Qattani has a deep understanding of Qur'anic pronunciation and interpretation. Additionally, he is first-place winner of several Quran competitions.

Imam Al-Qattani is driven by his commitment to Islamic scholarship and has dedicated his studies to the pursuit of Islamic knowledge, with a focus on tafseer.

Previously, he served as Imam at Wrexham Islamic Cultural Centre, where he led daily prayers, Jumu'ah khutbahs, Eid prayers, and funeral ceremonies. Currently, he is leading Taraweeh prayers at Al-Mujadilah during Ramadan.

Sheikh Mohammed Jassim Al-Jassim

Imam and preacher at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, Researcher in Qur’anic studies, serving as a lecturer in the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Qatar University, and a PhD candidate at the University of Malaya in Malaysia.

His research and writings focus on the impact of the Qur’an on the life of the individual and society. Among his notable works are Steadfastness in a Fragile World: Islamic Answers to Philosophical Questions, Al-Muthīr limā lahu Athar fī al-Tafsīr min Shawādh al-Qirāʾāt, ‘Upon Seven Aḥruf’: An Accessible Presentation of the Emergence of Qur’anic Readings, Qur’anic Proofs, and Prostrate to Adam: A Reading in the Human Succession Project.

His approach reflects a vision that combines authenticity with simplicity, connecting Qur’anic meanings to the lived reality of Muslims today.

Guidelines for a Peaceful Ramadan Experience

Child Policy

Thank you for respecting our women-only space.

  • Girls and boys under seven years old must remain in the Tarawih Terrace area under adult supervision at all times.
  • Boys aged seven and older are not permitted on the premises.
  • Girls aged seven and older are allowed to pray in the mosque, with adult supervision for girls aged seven to twelve years old. The café is reserved for adult guests and girls aged 7 and above.

Food Policy

  • To help us maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our space, we kindly ask that outside food not be brought into Al-Mujadilah.
  • You are welcome to bring water into the prayer areas.
  • If needed, food and beverages (other than water) may be kept outside the South entrance before entering.
  • Please note that the café seating area is reserved for items purchased from the café.

Shoes & Bags Policy

  • We kindly ask that shoes be removed and placed in the designated shoe racks before entering the prayer area.
  • Bags larger than a small purse may be stored in the shoe area prior to entry.

Parking Guidelines

Valet Cost: 15 QR.

Valet parking is available at the East Entrance from 6:30pm to 11:30pm.

Our visitor drop-off point is at the East Entrance.

General Guest Parking: Al-Mujadilah South Lot (next to Woqood)
