About this Program

Join us for a Ramadan edition of the Growing with the Qur’an (Beginner Level) program offered over four sessions during the holy month of Ramadan. Designed for young learners (girls and boys 7-10 years), the program aims to nurture a heartfelt connection with the Qur’an by introducing children to the story of a selected Surah each week, followed by guided recitation and the learning of basic tajwīd rules in an age-appropriate and accessible manner.   The program also focuses on drawing out simple spiritual and social lessons from each Surah and helping children relate these lessons to their everyday lives in a meaningful and engaging way. Interactive, hands-on activities are incorporated to support understanding and reinforce positive Islamic values and behaviors.   Important Note: The language of instruction for this program is English. Students joining the beginner level should be able to recognize Arabic letters and sound out words from the Qur’an
