Al-Mujadilah Centre and Mosque for Women, a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), is preparing for its second observation of the Holy Month of Ramadan since opening its doors to Muslim women from Qatar and across the world in 2024.
“Ramadan is a sacred time for both individual and communal religious growth, as well as a month of reflection, worship, and connection,” said Dr Sohaira Z. Siddiqui, executive director of Al-Mujadilah. “At Al-Mujadilah, we are committed to ensuring that Muslim women have access to programs that allow them to fully embrace the blessings of this month. From our daily Tarawih prayers to hadith and hifth classes, and special sessions for those experiencing Ramadan for the first time, our programs are designed to support and enrich this journey. As we mark our second Ramadan, we look forward to welcoming the Muslim women of Qatar to a Ramadan experience made for them.”
Al-Mujadilah has welcomed over 20,000 visitors since launching in February 2024 and has delivered over 100 programmes and events in its first year of operation, with its latest schedule building on its ongoing religious and social programs leading up to Ramadan, led by experienced scholars and practitioners.
