About this Program

This 4-hour intensive hands-on workshop equips Muslim women with Design Thinking tools for making purposeful, values-aligned decisions across their academic, personal, and spiritual journeys.
Join ​​Raisha Nurul Ibrahim, who will share her expertise on Design Thinking tools with reflective and collaborative activities grounded in Islamic principles.

By the end of the hands-on workshop, participants will confidently be able to:
• Understand the fundamentals of Design Thinking and how it can be applied towards positive change.
• Practice perspective problem-solving to address personal and community challenges.
• Generate values-driven ideas and decision-making rooted in Islamic ethics, like Ihsan (striving for excellence in worship), Shura (collective decision-making) and Tawakkul (reliance upon Allah).
• Collaborate in small groups to brainstorm, prototype, and share solutions in a supportive environment.
• Build confidence in expressing ideas, engaging in purposeful dialogue, and becoming active change agents.


The registration fee includes receiving a copy of the Purpose-Centered Design Thinking Toolkit; a framework to solve social problems for innovators and change-makers.
