Design Thinking Workshop: Becoming Positive Change Agents
About this Program
This 4-hour intensive hands-on workshop equips Muslim women with Design Thinking tools for making purposeful, values-aligned decisions across their academic, personal, and spiritual journeys.
Join Raisha Nurul Ibrahim, who will share her expertise on Design Thinking tools with reflective and collaborative activities grounded in Islamic principles.
By the end of the hands-on workshop, participants will confidently be able to:
• Understand the fundamentals of Design Thinking and how it can be applied towards positive change.
• Practice perspective problem-solving to address personal and community challenges.
• Generate values-driven ideas and decision-making rooted in Islamic ethics, like Ihsan (striving for excellence in worship), Shura (collective decision-making) and Tawakkul (reliance upon Allah).
• Collaborate in small groups to brainstorm, prototype, and share solutions in a supportive environment.
• Build confidence in expressing ideas, engaging in purposeful dialogue, and becoming active change agents.
The registration fee includes receiving a copy of the Purpose-Centered Design Thinking Toolkit; a framework to solve social problems for innovators and change-makers.
