About this Program

The “Being Muslim Support Circle” is a year-long program created to accompany Muslim women who have embraced Islam on their spiritual, emotional, and practical journey. It offers a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where converts can connect, learn, share, and grow together as they build their lives around faith.

Each session nurtures belonging, strengthens confidence in Islamic practice, and bridges the common gaps converts may face – from learning foundational knowledge and building daily habits to navigating emotional transitions and identity shifts.

This program is exclusively for women who have converted to Islam.

1. Bridge knowledge gaps and provide emotional support through consistent and structured guidance.
2. Create a nurturing environment for discussion, learning, and reflection.
3. Foster meaningful connections and sisterhood by building a community rooted in understanding, compassion, and shared experiences.

In each cycle, this program introduces a new outline with themes designed to support converts in grounding their faith and navigating daily life. A different guest speaker will be invited in each session based on topic and need.
Session themes for this cycle include:

Session 1: A welcoming introductory session where participants share their unique stories of embracing Islam. A space to listen, connect, and honor the diversity of faith journeys.

Session 2: Practical guidance on integrating prayer, Qur’an, dhikr, and dua into daily routines – balancing worship with work, family, and life commitments.

Session 3: Navigating changes and experiences after embracing Islam and exploring how to manage these changes. These could include family dynamics, friendships, and interests.

By the end of the cycle, participants will:
1. Feel connected and supported within a community of women who share similar experiences.
2. Establish a sustainable daily routine that incorporates prayer, Qur’an, and acts of remembrance.
3. Understand and navigate the emotional aspects of their journey with greater clarity and resilience.
4. Gain confidence in speaking about their faith and engaging in meaningful discussions.
