Muslim women have been central participants in shaping Islamic societies across history—as scholars, patrons, intellectuals, and leaders. The Alf Muslimah Project seeks to recover and document these histories, contributing to a deeper and more accurate understanding of Muslim women’s roles in shaping the intellectual and social worlds of Islam.
